I’m Azizul Azri Mustaffa, a lecturer from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Azizul Azri, 27 is a young lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since December 2006 and a member of the Process Synthesis & Design Research Group (PSE) and the Process Systems Engineering Centre (PROSPECT). He started his career as a tutor in the same department since May 2006 and promoted to full lecturer on December 2006. He is also a member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) since 2007 and an Associate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) since 2008.
He obtained his first degree in Chemical Engineering in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2005 and received his master degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution in 2006. He has published 2 publications which is a Bachelor’s Degree Project Thesis and a Master’s Degree Project Report both on Separation Technology (Crystallisation and Adsorption). Most of his career currently is focusing on management, teaching and learning and some consultation works. In the department, he was the Secretary of the External Relations Task Force, a member of the Academic Task Force and also the committee member of the Department’s Academic Staff Action Plan Workshop. Currently he is studying in Denmark Technical University, Denmark as a PhD student. His research project is on developing and analysis of a chemical property prediction model for organic chemical systems and its application in process and product design. His main research interests are phase equilibrium thermodynamics, property prediction, product design and sustainable process systems engineering.
March 2009-Present: PhD student in Computer Aided Process Product Engineering (CAPEC). Department of Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, Denmark Technical University (DTU).
December 2006-February 2009 (on Study Leave): Appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, UTM Skudai.
June-December 2006: Appointed as a Tutor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Chemical & Natural Resources Engineering, UTM Skudai.
